Portrait Session Pricing
The session fee is for the photographer’s time and talent and the preparation of your images. In order to reserve your session, the session fee plus the order deposit is due to hold your date. The session fee does not include the purchase of prints; however, the order deposit is credited to your portrait purchases.
The Signature Beach Session
The Beach Session is our most popular and these portrait sessions are limited, especially in the busy summer months. It is recommended that you reserve a date as early as possible. Beach sessions are scheduled in the evening hours for the best lighting and only one session is reserved per evening. You will have the option of purchasing our Fine Art Portraits, retouched by hand and printed on the finest papers by our professional lab or the option to purchase a digital package. Be sure to request our detailed price list.
The beach session fee is $250 and the order deposit is $250 – total to reserve the session date is $500. (The order deposit is applied to your purchases)
Location Sessions
Although the beach setting is still the #1 request for family portraits, Cape May is also home to many other beautiful locations. Some of our favorite locations include many Cape May landmarks such as the Rotary Park, Congress Hall, the Physick Estate grounds as well as our many Victorian streets and porches. We also have our country settings; woods, fields, barns, and the vintage railroad station, gardens and other secret locations! Explore the Location Gallery for many ideas!
Storytelling sessions are unique children’s themed sessions made on location. Together we envision a theme for your child’s session – one that is special and unique to them. We will plan the clothing, props and ideas for the perfect setting. This is not a traditional “look at the camera” session, but a fun, candid experience. The location and storytelling session fee is $300 and the order deposit is $250 – total to reserve the session is $550
The Proposal Session
On of our most popular sessions is the surprise proposal! Mary Pat can suggest the best locations for this incognito session and will even help with planning props such as a picnic setup complete with champagne and flowers! After photographing all the surprise and emotions, she will create a casually posed and romantic session with just the two of you ♥ The set of original digital images is yours to share with everyone!
