Photographing children and the families of children with special needs has been close to my heart for many years. I studied Special Education in college, and worked and volunteered with those very special and unique individuals. I always felt that I received so much more than I gave in my time as a volunteer.

As a professional photographer, I have photographed many children and families of those with disabilities, Autism and Down Syndrome. The love of these families and the devotion of their siblings is so wonderful to capture in a beautiful portrait. I always strive to create a portrait in which a child’s unique beauty and personality is portrayed.
